Our story

We got tired of "someday"

Bucketick started with a familiar, slightly embarrassing pattern: a group of friends who kept saying "we should totally do that" and then, predictably, never did. So we built the app we wished existed.

The problem with dreams is that they are quiet

Most of the good ones live in a notes app, a half-finished list, or the back of your head where they slowly gather dust. You mean to get to them. Life, being life, has other plans. A year passes. Then five. The trip is still "next year", the skydive is still "eventually", and the marathon is still a story you tell instead of a thing you did.

We noticed something, though. The goals that actually happened were almost never the ones we chased alone. They were the ones we said out loud, to people who then refused to let us forget. Turns out a shared dream has a much better survival rate than a private one.

So we built Bucketick

Bucketick is a bucket list app, but calling it that undersells it a little. It is where you collect the dreams you keep almost telling people about, chase them with the friends and partners who actually mean it, and then keep the memory once you pull it off. Not a task you cross out and lose. A story you get to scroll back through.

We are not here to guilt you into productivity. There are plenty of apps for that, and they are exhausting. Bucketick is meant to be opened on a good day, when you are feeling ambitious about your one weird, wonderful life.

What we believe

Dreams over tasks

A goal should feel like a wish, not homework. We design for the spark, not the guilt trip.

Better together

The dreams that come true are the shared ones. We build for couples, friends, and families, not lonely checklists.

Memories that stay

A finished goal deserves better than a strikethrough. We turn it into something you can keep and revisit.

Progress over perfection

The messy middle is the inspiring part. We celebrate showing up, not just crossing the finish line.

Where we are headed

We are a small team building carefully, in public, and slightly obsessed with the details. The app is on its way, and the waitlist is filling up faster than we expected, which is both flattering and mildly terrifying. If any of this sounds like your kind of thing, we would love to have you along early.

Want to say hi, share feedback, or tell us about the dream you keep putting off? We genuinely read everything. Reach us on the contact page, or just grab a spot on the waitlist and start your first list the moment we launch.
